Lol. I don’t want him addicted to anything. Damn those bug/drug pushers. Definitely don’t want him in rehab, lol. I’ll probably just stick with what we usually use. And use them as a snack every blue moon until they’re gone or too big. Not ordering anymore. Luckily, I only bought a small pack...
We currently use crickets, Dubia roaches and BSFL’s for our feeder insects. Never used super worms before. Are they similar to BSFL’s or do you need to dust them? Also, how would you rate them on a nutrition scale compared to others?
My breeder said to keep a light on my crickets 24 hours to help them want to eat/digest their food. Do any of you do this? Just want to make sure they are eating good, since they feed our baby. I gutload like crazy. I use repashy bug burger, kale, Bok Choy, carrots, collard, turnip and mustard...
How early do you guys feed your Panther after they’ve woken up? I have been putting food in his feeder about 30 minutes after he gets up, figure he needs some time to bask and drink before eating but not sure.
I’m not sure. I’d like to know though because I bought that also. Maybe try posting this in general discussion, you might have better luck getting a response.
Can I put my T5 5.0 on the top of our habitat or do we need to keep it elevated? Since our baby Zelus is 3 months and he likes to climb to the top and run around a little. Not sure if that would hurt him and I don’t really want to take chances but was curious. Currently we have the T5 UVB...
Not sure what my misting schedule should be now that I have a mistking. Before, we use to mist by hand and then bought the reptirain mister(which bites the big one, don’t buy it)!!! It literally broke within three days. Luckily we had already ordered the mistking and it showed up the day that...
This is what it says on Kammerflage’s care sheet:
Heat: In addition to the UVB bulb, an incandescent bulb is necessary to provide proper heating. When it comes to setting up the appropriate temperature gradient, keep in mind that panthers do best in an ambient room temperature that remains in...
I emailed the Kammers to double check what they were advising and they confirmed that’s what they keep their babies at. I don’t know. It’s all so confusing. Lol!!! I feel I should probably go with what the breeder says, they do have 38 years of experience and their Panther chameleons are...
We have a 3 month old baby named Zelus. We got him from Kammerflage and they said his basking temp should be
88-93, but everyone we talked to on here previously about the other chameleon we had said to make sure it’s 80-85. So, do I go with what Kammerflage says? Since they are one of the best...
We got the water can from Grainger for $25.00. It’s thin and tall so we still have space in the cabinet for other things. It was about half the price of all the other ones online. I think Amazon was selling them for about $50.00. He also got a Samsung water sensor that notifies our phone when...
Here’s some of the build pictures and finished product. My husband has some better pictures that I can post later when he is available. They can show you more of a step-by-step of what we did. But we started by buying a plain white kitchen cabinet from Lowe’s-$144., it did not come with the top...
