Here is a live one from Kammerflage Kreations for $18: http://www.chameleonsonly.com/products/Weeping_Fig_Tree_Ficus_benjamina_Large_8_pot-41-7.html
Plus, it is already cleaned and safe for your cham. The description says 28-32 inches.
That could work, but for the price there are a lot of better options out there, live plants being one of them. Also, you might want to find something a bit more "branchy" if you know what I mean, so your cham has plenty of places to climb.
Long story short: I don't have a cham yet but I'm still working on setting up the enclosure and I need one more plant.
Long story long: I've already killed a hibiscus (although further inspection showed that the plant appeared to have no root system so it may not have been my fault) and a...
If you're deciding what kind of plant to get, I highly recommend getting a Pothos vine. They are near impossible to kill (which is good if you're like me, because I'm terrible at taking care of houseplants :D ) and don't need much light like some other tropical plants. If you are looking for a...
I don't see why not, although you should consider something like the Crane drop shaped ultrasonic humidifier, it's only about $30 and seems pretty nice. What is the humidity in your cham's cage at right now?
Ok, thanks I will definitely look into these lights. Right now I just have a Reptisun T5 HO, a basking bulb, and a "plant light" which really looks like a regular house bulb tinted blue  . In the meantime, is there anything I should do to promote some new growth?
So I bought a nice Schefflera Arboricola about a month ago from Home Depot. It seemed pretty full and healthy when I bought it, but after having it for a day leaves started turning dark brown and dropping. I assumed it was the plant's way of adjusting to the lower lighting (although my room is...
I'm a little late to the party, but I run out of my room, fall down the stairs, and come panting over when I hear people talk about photography (or Harry Potter). When I vote, I vote based on:
1. The "feel" of the photo. I don't know exactly how to describe this, but other...
The care for all Panther chameleons is the same (I've never heard differently). Here's a link: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/panther/
You can compare chameleons to dogs in that you could think of the panther or veiled as the breed (like a Great Dane or Basset Hound) and the...
So after like a year with being obsessed with chams and convincing a certain family member to let me get one, I finally decided on a nosy be panther chameleon. Long story short: I am now reconsidering and thinking of getting a veiled chameleon and saying to heck with my plans for a panther. So I...
Dag nab I had finally set my heart on getting a nosy be panther cham but now that I see this thread I'm going to have to rethink things. :p Seriously though if someone who has a Panther and a Veiled would like me to bombard them with questions please PM me so I don't clog up this thread. :D
Not sure if I posted this in the right place... sorry
First off, I don't normally feel the need to share apps. Like, never. But I feel like I would be doing a disservice to chameleon keepers near and far if I didn't share this extremely useful app with you. :)
When I saw it I was just like...

 Well I know that :D I was asking about the 4 inch pots because I want to use Magnaturals planters and that's the only size they fit.
I attached a pic of the Magnaturals thingy.
If you want the thermostat mear the bottom of the cage you could cut a small notch in the plastic bottom on one of the edges and feed the wire through.
