How large is the new cage and why type will you be buying. If it's a screen cage with a laminate bottom you can drill holes in the laminate and place something underneath to catch the draining water. I've seen many examples posted here on this forum.

Sometimes I wish mine were aggressive. I literally have to pry their mouths open to feed medicine. I just starting injecting crickets and hand feeding to make sure they got the meds they need.
Mist King's timer is great! You can set it for one second if you really want to. I set mine for 5 mins three times a day. You could set more if you like.
