I had a hibiscus in my chameleon cage and it was practically dead...now that I've moved it outside its growing back fuller than before. Is there something wrong with my uvb??

well would you say he's too big for the cage in the picture and that's why he wants out?

my first guess would be he's outgrown his cage.. everything else is fine before I go and buy him a bigger cage right away I want to know what's a decent size cage for him at an adult size. here are some pictures of him in his cage...he's always trying to get out and he goes around in each...

yeah what I meant was if the ambient temp isn't hot enough the humity wont rise...well it will but it will also drop the temp by a lot.

i guess the ambient temp doesn't matter as much then? how do I get a good humidity going then? edit: i'm using 100wat incandesant lightbulbs

summer it gets around 70-73f and in winter probably around 65-68f during the day. basically the ambient temp in the room/cage I have him in does not get hot enough unless I use my room heater..........

im just having trouble with the ambient temp in the cage..in the summer the hottest it gets is 73f ..

Thanks for all the help! yes I am getting another (bigger) screen cage for my veiled. Right now I have a heater in my room because it can get quite cold even in the summer. Are there better ways to keep my chameleon warm without having to heat up the entire room?

First of all which one is better to have? Would a fog machine be good enough? How do I make a drainage system? Would a fog machine help the humidity?

My veiled cham is growing so fast that I already need to buy a bigger vivarium for him. Just had one question that I think I already know the answer to. I know he needs a screen cage...but how bad would it be if I bought him a glass enclosure? I figured if I bought a glass one I could re use it...

false alarm, I think he's just shedding. it's just that it's all white right where im guessing his digestive organs are.

my veiled chameleon's stomach has turned white! I always noticed it was a lighter shade of green and now I don't know what to do! his mouth is open like he's going to vomit. I fed him boiled mushed up carrots earlier today.

My veiled cham takes huge poops and I don't think he goes often enough. I don't want him to have a prolapse so what can I do about it?
