    Help with lighting please!

Also know the bulbs are always 2" shorter than the fixture. If you have a 24" fixture you'll order T5 22" replacement bulbs

    Help with lighting please!

You'll want a 24" T5HO fixture. We recommend ZooMed and Arcadia bulbs. You'll want a 5.0 or 6% depending on what brand you go with. ZooMeds last 6 months. Arcadias last a year. I buy all my UVB bulbs from Lightyourreptiles.com

    Concerned with my Cham

That's still quite small for a veiled. You'll need another larger cage later on. It's best to just go big or go home right off the batThere are 3 things you can do for humidity. Cool mist humidifier, misting system, and window insulation kit to block off sides of your screen enclosure.

    Do you!?

Praying for your husband's quick recovery! My family is very forgetful and not as into the small stuff like I am. When to replace the bulbs, what kind of bulbs, periodic cleanings, supplement and feeding schedules etc. Although my wife does clean the cages for our New Caledonian geckos lol.

    Concerned with my Cham

My apologies for being overly blunt. I failed to see your help form posting previously before typing away. We mean no harm to you or your cham or any egos. It can be difficult to judge a individuals intent behind text. So again I sincerely apologize for jumping the gun. I hope you can forgive my...

    Hep Meh!

Agreed. Chameleons aren't difficult once you figure out what they need and how they need it. But they're different. Mainly because they need heat, humidity, and airflow. Which can be difficult to obtain all 3 at the same time. On average I spent around $600 for each of my enclosures after...

    Concerned with my Cham

    My bad. Fixed.
  19. CamoChameleonsHuman

    Hep Meh!

Arcadia is the best. Their bulbs last 12months on average rather than 6 months like the ZooMeds. Honestly I don't know anything about Thrive to be able to recommend them or put them down in anyway. If you go with the dual T5HO fixture you'll want a 6500k plant light bulb and a 6% Arcadia UVB...

    Vitamin A deficiency

I supplement with Repashy Vitamin A Plus on 5 bugs once every 3 weeks. So far so good. Please note that I do not use all in one calcium products like Repashy Calcium Plus which does contain Vitamin A as well. For my multivitamin I use Rep-Cal Herptavite which contains caretnoids instead of...
