I find lots of references that say 60 to 65 for low temps. Personally I don't let my chams room go any lower than 65.
I have a space heater setup to keep the temp from going any lower than 65.
I would get an inexpensive light timer. Set it for whatever on time is convenient for you but make sure the lighting time is very close to 12 hrs. Also ensure that your Cham gets very close to 12 hours of uninterrupted sleep. They will really stress out if they don't get there beauty sleep...
Trust me it's sticky. It's also designed like a sort of suction cup so as to better hold onto the prey item.
I know this first hand because my male panther shot an insect I was holding and got my thumb instead.
Only time I've ever been bitten. Much to the dismay of my female cham...
For the larger chams I doubt it would be much of a problem if given very rarely. In the wild Panthers, Mellers, and Parson's have been known to eat lizards. In the case of Parson's they have been witnessed eating tiny birds.
The main problem lies in the design of there intestinal tract...
I would email the company. I know they came with replacement spray heads but I don't know if they can be purchased alone. They are pretty easy to clean.
I checked to see what paint I used on my frag stands and it's Krylon fusion but the glossy. I would hazard to guess if its safe for reef tanks it should be fine for your Cham. The night before you get your new Cham I would give it a good rinsing in the shower and let it dry. Use caution if any...
Hard to tell with the picture. I agree that his bones look pretty nice. He is definitely under weight and looks quite dehydrated. I would make sure you're providing for hydration (Spraying several times/day and have a dripper running.)
Is he eating?
Has he pooped yet? You can tell a...
Personally I use Rep-cal and Reptivite
I use the Calcium supplement Rep-cal both with and without Vitamin D
For my baby Chams I use Rep-cal with D-3 every other day and Rep-cal without vitamin D very VERY lightly every other day. So in essence I'm using Calcium daily but alternating one...
Where do you live? What are the high day time temps in your area?
If you leave the cage in a cool environment the paint will cure and degas slower than it would in a warm environment.
Is the enclosure screen? It would be helpful if you could post a picture of the enclosure.
How cool...
Nice Cham, cute name.
You're never going to get a simple answer on the supplementation topic. Everyone seems to have there own special brand, d-3 (full, light, none) Vit-a (Pre-formed, Pro-formed, mix) schedule, etc. I go with what my breeder Screameleone recommends.
Seems to work...
Most reptiles expel a clear wattery like substance with fecal and urate material. They can expel a very small amount of actual urine along with feces and the concentrated urates. As long as his urates are nice and white and he isn't passing a large amount of this clear fluid I wouldn't give it...
