If you want a big pet and don't mind it being a fish try an arowwanna or clown knife there awsome for reptiles you can try a tortise or a big water drago or somthing
I have a saltwater tank now it a reef and all the fish tanks I've had have been a lot of fun I have african cichlids too fish are awsome but there really alot more complex then herps
There is 200 chameleon species plus I know a lot of them are rare but why can't we see more and for chams like fischers that we have seen captive breed why aren't they produced on larger scales to support the market instead of importing a whole bunch they always seem to b popular
You really should have started with a beardie but if you want to do chameleons that's fine just know that there very difficult animals to keep alive and require ALOT of work that's why beardies are recommended first because there easier but still you can just give up U GOTTA KEEP TRYN I started...

I think that exo Terra's moss mat makes a great bottom layer it's easy to clean cant be ingested usually and even if it is its moss so it's safe and it makes a much more natural enclosure look than bare bottom
