Yes they are an agricultural pest. I mean if people where trust worthy and no one let any go into the wild we could have them but people areny trust worthy and some could escape.
In the UK I have access to dubia roaches, slickworms, crickets, locusts, mealworms, superworms, snails, flies, not sure about black solider fly larvae and definitely not allowed hornworms.
What about with locusts they have barbs that can irritate the throat I'm not saying we should be ripping legs off as crickets are fine but locusts have barbs on thier legs.

A lot of the ones listed thier affect birds or birds be carrier like the chalmidya Is also know as parrot fever or psittacosis I never knew reptiles could carry that.
Apart from salmonella theres not a lot of other diseases a chemelon can give to a human or other pets right. Also with birds they cant pass any diseases to a chemelon right.
