This looks like an egg. I’m not very educated on urates but it shouldn’t be Orange and it also looks really watery. It should be solid and colored white and black. @Beman @MissSkittles

How are you reading the temps and humidity? If the heat bulb you have is too hot you can suspend it over the cage so it hangs and you can adjust it to the right temp that’s what I did.
I won’t even go in there.... none of there animals have the proper care they need. This pet store is actually ok regarding other animals but doesn’t seem like they know much about chameleons . :(
Okay so from what I have learned, you can use pretty much any light bulb over 45 w but you want to check the temps in the cage because that’s what really matters. What is the temp at her basking branch?
I have been going to this pet shop near me for years, it’s where I got my Cham. But after joining the forum, I have realized how much care the chameleons are lacking. I went yesterday and they have had the same adult veiled and Jackson’s Cham for months, with no uvb or real plants. It makes me...
Thank you! That means a lot (: ! Okay so I do have a scale that I can use to weigh her, I’ve seen video on Neptune the chameleons YouTube where she puts them on plants and weighs them, I’m not completely sure on how to weigh her though. But I have been wanting to do that, do any tips on weighing...
Okay thank you! I was wondering about this, I do feed her very small crickets and the bsfl is also small which is why I haven’t held back on the amount. But thank you! Yea she has not shown any of these colors but she has shown the black dotted when she gets upset.
I’ve had to wait up to 5-10 minutes just standing there with a bug on my hand for her to actually come and get it, that’s good thats he’s eating in front of you though I’m sure you’ll gain her trust as long as you keep trying. :)
Yes, keep trying. I have a had my chameleon since the beginning of September. At first she would have never eaten from my hand but now she recognizes that I am the one who feeds her and she will often walk onto my hand without any force now. It just takes time
So I haven’t noticed any tremendous weight gain, I feed her 5-7 feeders every other day, she is almost 7 months I believe, but I just wanted to post some pics and wanted some feedback if she looks Gravid or possible overweight? I don’t feed her to much because I don’t want her to be overweight...
I feed my girl ina smaller cup, and usually just hold the Dubias and crickets, not a fan of holding worms though so I do put those in a cup. I do what @Flick boy says, I hold the cup and swish them around for more movement, but if your Cham is shy or scared of your hands then this may not work...
I was going to feed my Cham this morning(I hand feed her) and she usually walks straight up but she was a little angry today, I caught a super funny pic of her that I wanted to share though.
Okay I’ll pick up some play sand later when I go out and try it out. But I also had a question, she does not look Gravid, but I wanted to put the lay bin in now, but will it dry out?
