Does anybody know where to find cheap MistKing? (UK)

Reconfirming that you do in fact only need one mistking for three enclosures. They come with plenty of tubing and 10 nozzles, plus a bunch of T sections and elbows to configure how you want

    Mites or bugs in plants

These things are smaller than cricket eggs. Probably 1/3 of the size. Very very small

    Mites or bugs in plants

I have a few potted plants in one of my cham cages and just noticed that there’s these tiny, what seem to be, mites on the top of the soil. I imagine they’re all throughout it too. What’s a safe and harmless way to kill them off without killing the plant or hurting my cham through the...

    Dubia Colony Questions

How are you keeping your Dubia colony temp elevated? I keep mine in an upstairs closet under the attic that is pretty warm but I don’t think it’s getting warm enough for any breeding activity. I don’t have a thermometer to see the actual temp of the closet. Would a heat pad underneath be...

    Chameleon staying on the bottom

You don’t need a bin if you take all that moss out and fill it with sand up to the door

    Chameleon staying on the bottom

Just sand and make sure it stays some what moist so when she digs a tunnel it keeps its shape and doesn’t collapse on her. Also maybe put a towel over the front of the viv so she doesn’t see you walk by and stress her out, forcing her body to hold onto the eggs and not lay. The plant cover is eh...

    Chameleon staying on the bottom

I don’t see any spurs on the back feet and also looks like her stomach is bulky like there’s jelly beans in it. Very similar to my girl right now

    Chameleon staying on the bottom

Yep. I’d get rid of all the moss and fill up the whole bottom with moist play sand from a Lowe’s or Home Depot. Wash the sand and put it in there. You don’t want her to get eggbound by not having any where to lay her eggs

    First Chameleon

You’ll want the Fogger to be going at night to raise the humidity and also since veileds are shy drinkers, they’ll breathe in the fog as they sleep and get hydrated that way. I have an electronic mister set for two mins in the morning right when I turn the lights on and for 1 min when I turn...

Seeking skilled or knowledgeable photographer to help me dial in my camera for best cham settings

I have a Nikon D7500 It’s a pretty complicated cam and I have yet been able to find good settings to default to when shooting my chameleons. Either the exposure is always high or the shutter speed is too slow. Any recommendations on what I should tune the settings to in order to get the best...

Time for New Enclosure - Build thread!

A way a few of those braces are set, it’s not gonna work if you try to screen them. Unless you have double grooved frame so you can cut individual screened rectangles for it. Also make sure not to pull the screen too tight as it will pull everything in and warp the panels. You’ll want to make...
