I was feeding the chams today and I noticed one of my female brevs was a really vibrant yellow--they sure do change colors a lot, and I'm still learning what they mean (gravid, receptive, stressed, etc). I'm trying to map it out.
But, she's beautiful.
Well the eggs that were laid on February 8th of this year started hatching today (five hatched of six, and the sixth has probably hatched by now). Sure seems like a quick incubation--three months. They seem big, healthy, and strong.

The rest are on the bigger side of the spectrum, and I'm surprised overall at the larger size of the baby quads--they have a "sturdy" feel to them, much like baby Veileds. It's like they're already three-weeks old. I'd be curious to hear Ponders' thoughts/experiences with the babies.

Chris - I've been using your recommendation for baby cham setups (with the clay pebble bottoms, soil, planted, glass cages, etc.) and I have lost very few. It appears to be working very well.
