I have a clear cup for feeding my veiled but its on a slight angle and the roaches keep climging out. how do i strap the cup in so that it bear his weight but wont rip more holes in the cage? i need to be able to remove the cup to wash it from the supplement residue or put a new cup in.

i've tried to put it directly over the plant as best i can. i can't move his UVB because it is directly over his uvb basking branch. all i can think of is maybe getting a better plant light something a bit brighter like jungle dawn.

they do well on the back of my toilet, where there is a window and about medium-brightness. i take pretty good care of my plants, it's not the only one i've had, i've grown clippings from it. the light i have i think would do better if it wasnt 6 years old and a t8, i think it's lost some of...

oh no it's growing, it's just growing only on the window side and the very top. its starting to get very bushy near the left backside where the heat lamp is. i think it's not growing in the front because there's not enough light on that side of the cage

is there no one who can help reccommend which jungle dawn light would be best for my setup? i need help ya'll! I can take more pics if i need to

well good luck with your setup. i would never try it personally. Especially because my cham is clumbsy as hell, gets as close as he can to his lights. and has fallen from the top all the way to the bottom, miraculously without breaking any legs. Ive got the 4ft reptibreeze.

here's how i have mine setup. UVB, then plant light, then heat lamp in the back right over his favorite basking vine.

the uvb should be touching the screen. basicly laying right on the mesh. as for as the heat lamp size, i just bought a regular ceramic dome from the pet shop. it's a tight squeeze, but it works fine.

am i seeing that right? the bulbs are IN the cage? as far as i know, you should never do that. they can get bad burns from it.

I have all the right lighting for my cham but not for his plant. In the picture, the middle bulb is for the plant. It's all i had at the time, it's a phillips T8 grow bulb. I think t8 is too high? I did have it mounted to the ceiling but moved it to the top of the cage because i figured it was...

well he did, i guess it was hot that day and he said the bugs can die while being hauled around in the mail truck because of the outside temperature and to go a live arrival guarantee that it was best if i went and picked then up. i don't care i will probably still make him deliver them honestly lol
