as i said i got a female veiled as a rescue and besides being alittle skinny and weak she seems ok. since teh move last night ive only seen her come out once then i rrearranged and added things to her cage so she could get much closer to her liights. she's too scared and is hiding in a fake plant lol

now i am wondering about future at what age do they start to lay eggs?

im pretty positive this female is about 4 moths old
anything i need for a female please chime in. i have a 3 year old male and he's easy.

seems fine. she immediately drank the water after i misted the plants. her legs just look terribly skinny to me and when i picked her up she just laid on me and closed her eyes. i put branches up higher to the warm light for her. shes in a medium zoomed cage. what is a good way to get a food cup attached?

im really wondering what age she will start to lay eggs and how i should set up an egg laying bin for her when it's time

she isnt emaciated she looks healhy just skinny longs and legs which im hoping is normal at 4 months old. how do i add a pic to show you?

when i picked her up she just laid on me and closed her eyes.

That is a little concerning to me. I want a more experienced member to chime in. I don't remember a healthy cham closing its eyes while on me.

Attaching a cup- zoo med reptibreee I assume? I use a magnetic clip (office supplies. available at dollar tree) and on the outside I use a large meta washer.

i just took a shallow bug cup and braided my metal twine through it and then twisted it to the mesh. lets see how long this works.

i was able tto weave the metal twine around the cup and it just hangs on the cage like a bird bowl wold do. i know this is her first time in a new home aqhnd she is out and about checking everything out. she must not be hungry cause she ttoss her nose up to dubias and a veggie salad

she is up and moving around her cage now but wasnt interested in eating any thing. she looks good so just needs time to adjust and get on a normal feeding schedule

here i figured it out lol. shes hiding in the bottom of that fake plant and not basking at all. i don't even know what these lightts are that came with her im surprised she lived this long

if someone can tell me whether she looks a good weight or not that would be great because then i can work on remodeling all her branches and take out that fake silk plant

also, is it normal for them to hide after a move? i got my guy at just over a year and he wasnt shy at all. the cages set next to eachother but i have it blocked off they can't see each other.

She doesn't look gravid and doesn't look bad at all. Feed her well but don't overfeed her or she will produce large clutches of eggs.
