So I was in the room where my girl cham is, and I saw her open her tongue and eat a piece of soil. It looked like a bigger piece, but she ate it and crawled back up to bask. I had the soil covered in river stones but somehow she got a piece. I’m confused & now worried, with all the world going...
Other than me misting / putting shower curtains on two of the sides... does anyone suggest doing something else to increase humidity at night? Such as a fighter, humidifier, etc? I’m worried it hasn’t been humid enough for her
Hi all! Which temperature and humidity gauge would you recommend? *I'm more concerned on humidity, I don't think mine is high enough at nighttime for my female veiled. Thanks in advance!!
Okay that makes sense. I was thinking I might need to feed her more if she’s purposely saving some for the next day because she knows she won’t get any. That’s what was going through my head
Hi again!! So my female is about 10months - 1 year. I feed her every other day, about 8 large crickets. It’s been fine up until last week, I noticed that she eats all except 1 or two, and saves them for the next day (the day we don’t feed her). Is this usual? It’s so strange to me... do I need...
Ahh yes I actually am a little confused on setting up the whole thing haha  but no worries! I can totally see how that would be difficult & I don’t want you to have to take apart yours! I’ll keep searching!
This is helpful thank you!! I actually bought the mistking & have it but haven’t put it to use because I can’t figure out how to set it up right. I’m not super good with that kind of stuff! Do you happen to know a good video on how to set up the starter mistking kit??
I came home shocked to see this... I know that this coloring means she is dehydrated so I will mist even more now, but does anything else look concerning? It looks overly orange to me. Sometimes it’s a little bit off white but has never been this drastic & this looks very concerning to me. Any...
This is where I got my girl too! But I had no idea about chams then, I learned everything from here. But now I’m so glad I was able to take her in and give her a better life!
I know I shouldn’t be in this store, but I wandered in because I knew they had chams. Look at this beauty. But it kills me.. look at the humidity gauge  bottom of first picture... 20%
I know there is lots of work left.. but this is what I’ve gotten to! Have a bucket I’m putting underneath, to catch the water from the holes I’ve drilled in the bottom of the Viv. Live dracena plant with river stones on the top so the soil isn’t exposed. I know I need more branches and foliage...
Hi all. I’ve had my female veiled cham for about 6 months now. She’s probably 8-10 months old, we’ve already been through her first egg laying and everything seems to be going smoothly! However, I’ve never taken her to a vet yet, and I’m wondering if I should? Just to make sure everything is ok...
