Hi everyone! So this has been happening lately, my chameleon has been super dark lately. I'm not sure why, I researched a lot before I got him. I have his basking side at the right temp. I have him in a glass cage, (well ventilated). He just always puffs up and stays dark in his cage. He usually...
Yes, don't stress. Just give him time to adjust. I wouldn't worry about it too much if he's new you should wait a bit. Those new plants your getting mike make him feel "safer", otherwise he/she is a beaut!
I keep the bin in my room. It's around 75 degrees. Because I have more than just a cham, I use the crickets to feed my Baby Beardie too. It's hard to feed them both because they keep dying.
Those are actually cheaper than Petsmart 100 at Petsmart are like 11 bucks. Small ones there are 500 for 11 bucks. My cham is still kind of small so that's the size I feed him right now. It's like overnight they all are just dead.
Hey everyone! So I was wondering if someone could help/explain this problem i'm having! So I have been buying crickets to feed my cham. They keep dying so quickly. I have fed them strawberries, cubes, carrots, etc but they keep dying! When they die it's so sudden too. It's like 2 days after...
Hey everyone! So I don't really understand this so I was seeing if y'all could explain! I have a 5-6 month old veiled cham he's pretty content in his cage but is a little stressed bc I cleaned it up and rearranged everything, but for the most part he's good! When it comes to anyone really...
Usually they do this when they are to hot. Or like the person stated above. Your cham could be sick. Also try moving it's basking light a little further from him/her. They gape when it's too hot to let their salvia to evaporate so they can cool down.
