Does anyone happen to have images of what the inside of a healthy mouth for a veiled chameleon looks like? Specifically the bottom. Google yields no images. :)
Just out of curiosity. :)
Thanks!
Off hand, do any of you know of a good vet around Southern California? Thought I'd ask before digging through the list on the forums
None of my chams need a visit, but I want to have the information on hand just in case :)
Thanks in advance :D
:(
Sounds like a rough time.
Maybe hold off on misting for now? If she needs water use a syringe? I'm not an expert as I have not dealt with RI before. Hopefully someone will pop in with better advice.
Is she eating?
If she was falling asleep early she could have just tuckered out early...
You can get childproof plugs for outlets to relieve worry.
Not sure if they would put their feet in far enough, plus I think it's only when you stick metal items into an outlet.
I think you are fine but that is just my opinion. :)
My bf had that green carpeting for his veileds and it got gross and stinky no matter how well or how often I scrubbed it clean, bugs also liked to hide under it :( I tossed it when I took over cham duty :D You can keep it but I figured I'd share anyways :D
Looks good though, nice panther :D...
I got my plants at home depot :D They were super dirty but a decent price :D Everyone does things differently :) I put rocks at the bottom of my pots then organic soil with large river rocks on the surface :D the rocks at the bottom help with drainage.
As for moss on the bottom I would say no :)...
I'd say 70% is fine, but that is my opinion :D
Misting is ok during the day but I would not mist at night IMO, and just test to make sure the enclosure is dry between each misting, to avoid mold growth :)
