Of course the flash takes away from the sheer neon-ness of his coloring but he's looking pretty handsome perched on his vine for the night! He's such a sweetheart and goodness, I love him!
Thanks everyone! I'm so proud of my Camo so your kind words put a smile on my face this morning! I just wish I could get my tripod set up and get a good picture that does the 'glow in the dark' color justice!
Rwake15, my husband recently made me two of the exact same cages; 20x20x36 made from pine and all screen, which is a perfect size for both my veileds! Lots of climbing space!
Psychobunny I have also made some 'bedtime' covers for my cages but I used a heavy vinyl shower curtain to help with humidity - they are removable panels that are attachable with velcro. I live in the Great White North and have to be pretty diligent in keeping my cages perfect (temp & humidity wise) as we don't get alot of heat here and virtually no outdoor sunshine time for my guys.
You mean you cant even take them outside in the summer?
I thought East coast US was bad, we only have a few months a year of sunny warm weather.
We do get days were its sunny and in the 60's or 70's in the fall and spring, and even rare days in winter.
They really need to have some natural UV.
It can be chilly out, like 50's, and I will have a cham on my shoulder and go outside. He can get some sun, and stay warm from my body heat.
Need to take advantage of any opertunity to get them out for real sunshine
