Is there a good website or a good thread that has a basic guideline of how much my veiled should be growing a week? I don't have any health concers for him, he's eating, drinking, pooping, moving all over his cage and all that good stuff. I am just a very overprotective parent and am scared that...
Ok Thank you! I definately didn't know they could overdose on it! Thanks. And I will definately not be going back to any of the reptile stores for information on chams! Even though they aren't the big chains like petco and petsmart they apparently don't know much more than how to sell products!
I have been advised by a few people that I should be giving him plain calcium at every feeding and calcium with d3 twice a month and then a multivitamin twice a month. But I was wondering is why just the plain calcium? Everybody at the reptile stores says just the calcium with d3, but you guys...
i provide a dripper for him to drink from. It falls onto the leaves. So should I still mist more..(I'm not trying to say it's not important.. just re read my post and i sound a little rude i think) I just don't want to mist too much because I read that was bad also.

And I will go read up on signs and syptoms of MBD, since that is one thing i haven't read up alot on yet.

Thanks for the advice. When he outgrows this enclosure we are going to get him a screened enclosure, but for now I have read plently of posts saying that glass is ok. And as far as misting more than that is it really necessary when he is in glass? The glass does help hold the moisture alot...
Ok so I was asked to make a new thread to discuss why my veiled keeps falling. I am going to post pictures of his enclosure and everything. First off I will start with the basic info.
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male Veiled, Baby, 3 in from tip to tail
Handling -Once a day for a few...
Ok So I have my baby veiled in a glass terrarium, it was recommended by the guy at the local reptile store(his wife actually raises chams). And I have read alot of things about how it is bad to keep them in glass. I am very confused about the whole situation. Anyways today he has climbed onto...
