My Jackson's was on the roof of his cage, which he doesn't do very often, and I guess decided to just fall off. Luckily the place he decided to jump from was right above the umbrella plant in his cage. So he fell about 18 inches and landed softly, he seems fine and I'm wondering what his deal...
I have a BIG rose hair tarantula, and when I take my jax over near to her cage he tries to eat her... There is a wall of glass between them and even though my cham is only barely bigger than my tarantula he still thinks she is food and shoots his tongue at the glass lol.
You should name him after someone or something that has to do with dragons or archery, like I named my Jax Smaug because he arrived right after I finished watching the Hobbit :p. Or go with what SaintJimmy said. Good luck with you're new friend :).
My cage is 24x24x48 so I made a 24.5x24.5 stand and just put the cage on top. If the cage is bigger than the vanity you could attach a larger piece of plywood via nails or screws. If you're worried about the cage falling off you should make a small half inch tall wood border that the cage would...
:/ That's not good. Try to look everywhere he might have gone, and places that seem a little far-fetched. If your house is cold he might be in the warmest room or something. Also how did he get out and are you sure he's gone? I've thought lost my cham but he was just under my nose or something.
When I take my cham outside for some sun he will sometimes climb out of my reach and I have to get a small ladder to get him down from this little tree in my backyard -_-

I know that there is a huge difference in recessive genes and mutations but breeding a female Xanths to have horns like a female Mt. Kenya Jax is like breeding a line Huskys or German Shepards back into wolfs, I just don't see the point. But I'm sure that there are some Xanths that have more...
Not to be a party pooper but don't some T.J. Jacksonii females already have 3 horns? I guess it would be cool for a Xanth female to have them also but something crazy like a 4th horn or different color morph would be cooler. A Jax that's blue like Nosy Be would be awesome but I don't know if...
Do you have any pictures of the Jax with a forth horn? I would very much like to see that. And I'm not even sure if there are many differences that you could breed for in Xanths(besides deformities like a forth horn), but like super large horns, a larger total size, or a different color morph...
