In regards to the dark mark on the front leg. If you look at his back leg there is pink. Is there a chance hes just a poorly marked translucent? I know that they get odd purple/dark splotches in the pink areas as they age.

No. They are about half coverage sometimes less or a little more. I learned quickly in the beginning that if they look too white she refuses to eat them. Sometimes she ignores them until they have groomed most of it off.

She gets repticalcium on all her crickets and superworms. I don't dust the bsfl or the silk worms. She gets the reptivite every other monday.

Peroxide and water solution will kill them. Or you can use nematodes to water your plants with. Ive also read (but havent tried) that putting an inch of sand on top of the soil will stop them.
