It would void the warrenty I am sure. But to take your motor apart is only 6 screws and a hot sodering iron o take the winds off. The only dif in a more powerful motoe would be less winds and more timing in the motor. In witch it is VERY easy to adjust. The number 1 thing I like about mistking...
Go with the cheaper 1 and unwind a few winds off the stator and you should have the same power. I have built and raced brushless motors since they first came out and they are really easy to work on and "tune".
as I am sitting here splining in screen right now, lol. Go with aluminum screen and think about color. Lowes sell a charcoal and a plain aluminum color screen. I use the charcoal myself but it isnt as "bright" inside as sum I have done for friends who went with the plain. Therefore I use a 10.0...
I have 3 jacksons and I do not take them out unless I have to. People think I am weird that don't know anybetter but there really is no reason for ME to take mine out.Noe Iwill watch them for hours as I find it more interesting then having them out sitting on my head.:D
not if it is a tub bulb. I use a 24inch 8500k a 24inch 10.0 uvb side by side and still use a seperate 60 watt basking light and only keep mine "hot" spot in the low 80's.
I make my own cages and buy everything from Lowes. I can build a 2x2x4 foot cage in about 1 hour give or take now. I don't buy the pre made kits as you need aluminum screen or your crix will eat through it. Building screen cages are only hard the first time IMO. Looks good. I have 1 framed up...
you can keep Jacksons togher. I have 2 full grown girls togher in a 2x2x4 cage and they get along just fine. They both eat drink and will lay nose to nose in there basking area. Now I say this but I also have another cage just needing splined and screened that I just built because I want to keep...
I would think if u could gut load them with sum pesticide free food they would be ok. But they eat my roses up and I dust em so I know the ones in my hood are not safe. Hate june bugs myself.
I would say he is full grown by the looks of him and am guessing around 12 to 14 months old. He looks good. I have 3 females myself with 1 ready to drop babies any day now. Check for a STRONG grip, nice full eyes(not sunken in) and I like mine to have ALL there nails. The nails is not as...
Well thankfully I have a 11 yr old daughter thatis great at naming all our different pets. And me with my bad addiction and having a reptile expo in my town every month feeding the fire I bought a REAL prego jackson this past Sunday and she named her Liz. Now I have Leaf and Liz:D
I use a 10.0 24inch and a 7800k 24 inch strip light along with a 60 watt heat lamp on my 2x2x4 cage and my jackson does just fine with it. I also us a live rubber tree with lots of bamboo and vines so she can hide if she want to but 99% of the time she stay within a foot from the top of the cage...
