    Veileds!

As far as personality goes, you just cannot beat a Veiled. They are all so unique, and strange in their own little ways! Comet-Comet was the little female that I rescued along with the skin diseased male. If you go near the cage she is hoping you have food. She is interestingly colored...

    Prolapse Help

NO SALT! You can use some sugar water, but your absolute best bet is to get him to a Vet pronto. If it remains out it can get infected, or he will try to drag it off on a branch.

    Ellioti mating attempt-NO GO!

So now that the little Elliots have acclimated well, I decided to put them together. He went all body bobbing (they are too small to bob just the head) and at first she just walked right over him. Next he tried to mount and she was not having it. She was trying to bite, and when she finally...

    My fisrt enclosure!

Yes-that is an umbrella plant and I would switch it out for a schefflera arboricola. Umbrella plants are toxic. https://www.chameleonforums.com/plants/showplant.php?plantid=4&browse=common&view=photo&order=compatible&ltr=U

    New Veiled Chameleon

You just use a flower pot or bucket that is at least 10" around and 10" deep. You can fill with organic earth or that stuff you had in the bottom of the cage mixed with sand.

    New Veiled Chameleon

It is a girl somewhere under 2 months old. Live plants and misting a few times daily will keep the humidity up. You will not need an egg laying bin for another few months.
