Yes-that is an umbrella plant and I would switch it out for a schefflera arboricola. Umbrella plants are toxic.

You just use a flower pot or bucket that is at least 10" around and 10" deep. You can fill with organic earth or that stuff you had in the bottom of the cage mixed with sand.
It is a girl somewhere under 2 months old. Live plants and misting a few times daily will keep the humidity up. You will not need an egg laying bin for another few months.
