Thank you everyone! I have indeed had a wonderful Birthday! I know I have not been on much lately-but I check in and am still available to answer questions. The cham herd is doing great and I am hatching crested geckos. I just started Dressage lessons, and am anticipating getting a horse...
I checked this morning, and found these two! These are from my red orange breeding pair, and the eggs were pretty dented when I found them. Right under 70 days incubation.
I am pretty excited about this dark guy!
This one appears to be shedding right out of the egg?
And both of them:
My two cents: I live right outside of Tampa and I have stopped keeping outside after dealing with respiratory infections and mouth rot. I had been keeping them outside of my lanai, under the overhang of the roof where they mostly were getting indirect sunlight. They were also by the pool. I...
Luckily Carol, I won't have much work to do! Full board-all inclusive at the most gorgeous place I have ever seen. I am not against mucking and all that great stuff, but with work I will only be able to get out to the barn once a weekday and both weekend days! :)
LOL! Not quite yet! I have a prospect, but have not committed yet. I am leaning towards Dressage and the little walker won't fit that bill. I start lessons next week, and have fallen in love with a barn, so we will see where it goes from there. I see lessons and leasing in the more near...
Hey everyone, I am still around, just have not been on the forum much lately! I have added an obsession to my crazy life! Horses! All of the cham/reptile herd are doing great! Here are a few pics:
Attack Mellers! Major Mellers hates, hates, hates the camera and will strike an attack pose...
If you get a 38 gallon Reptarium to start with you can put the entire thing together for about $80. Remember to save some funds back in case you have to pay for a vet visit. Chameleons are not cheap.
It is always good to guess high with a Veiled! My first clutch was 81! 69 eggs made it to term and 69 eggs hatched! Many forum members have those babies that are now almost 3 years old! I just hate for a female to go through all of that work for nothing.
Thanks everyone and far from my first batch. It is however my first clutch from this pairing. It was 28, and it looks to be infertile. I was worried about that since she started digging at 17 days gestation. There are a few that are better shelled, so I will incubate everything until it...
She was bred to Bruce (FL WC Veiled) 5/01 and is as I type stamping down the EcoEarth over her eggs. Since it has only been 20 days I am sure hoping they are fertile! Anyone want to venture a guess on how many eggs? :p
Danny-can't wait to see you in August! I am excited about your Flappers-I got 4 one month olds From Julie a few weeks back and they are growing like weeds!
Liar!:p
LOL!
OK! Now I am excited-someone elses ear I can bend-PM'ing you now!
I will ride plenty-no doubt-and plan on getting property in a few years once we toss the last slacker kid out! :) I really want smaller house more yard! :)
Anyone miss me? :p Anyways-I am still around, just have not been posting as much. I am happy to answer PM's, so don't hesitiate to ask away. Chams are all doing great, Comet is digging test holes, baby Flappers are growing like crazy, and Crested geckos should start hatching any day...
