    Vet Visit: Eye Problem

May just be something stuck in the eye then although I would warn against using repashy calcium plus on any more than three feedings a week. I have noticed a lot of people have had problems with using it every feeding with some reporting death. Apart from his eye he looks amazing though! Hope...

    Vet Visit: Eye Problem

What supplementation schedule and products do you use. I was speaking to a breeder yesterday who for his panthers now dusts one feeder a month with repashy vitamin A dust. I know vitamin A is a big vitamin for eyes and tongue. I think I am going to start the one feeder vitamin A routine...

Egg bound looking for some expert advise

All I can say is do not stop oxcytocin if the first lot doesnt work. Mine took three lots of it every other day to get her to lay her eggs.

    First cage!!

I agree with the Uv being changed to a linear bulb. No CFL is going to come near wild uv exposure and in a cage that large it is virtually useless. If you can go for a 6% T5 for Arcadia.

    New Setup

I would separate as soon as you can. Small silkworms would be a good feeder. I wouldnt give too many mealworms. Well gutloaded crickets are a good staple for them though.

    Using Repta-Boost

If she is healthy she does not need it. Try and give her as much variety regarding food as possible with different species of worms and roaches.

    Silkworms UK?

There are literally no silkworms about. I think most are being saved to be sold as this weekends reptile show.

    counteracting MBD

I would change the uv bulb for a 10.0. I think they should all be kept with one anyway whether they have MBD or not.

    Pigmen can't catch anything :(

Go for the three separate supplement routine or if you go for calcium plus use it about twice a week with pure calcium all other days. Do no use each feeding like it says to. There has been too many problems caused by it being used daily.

    New to Chameleons. Introducing Yosh

The basking spot is too hot for him, which is the reason he is opening his mouth to cool down. 95F is even in the very upper limits for an adult male. 85F would be a much better temperature for the basking spot and he will probably not need to open his mouth to cool down now.

    Tongue problem

With the supplements you want to place a pinch in a bag then put your crickets in and shake. You need to give Komodo pure calcium daily Calcium with D3 twice a month Multivitamin such as reptivite from zoo med twice a month. All the supplements need to go on the crickets. The uv...

    Mineral Deposits or something else?

Yep. More common in veileds it seems compared to others such as panthers.

    Mineral Deposits or something else?

Because chameleons cannot release salt through sweat they do it through their nostrils so they are salt deposits. Not sure on the second problem.

    Yemen Eye Issue!

    Yemen Eye Issue!

What uv are you using? Is it a compact bulb by any chance? People say thee have been fixed but more eye problems are copping up with them lately.

    new viv

I you can go for a 2x2x4 cage from muji chameleonworld seeing as you are in the uk. They do great drainage bases with them too. If you want something cheaper the Xl reptibreeze from Essex reptile is a great choice.
