Repti calcium with d3 and zoo med reptivite without d3

Uv rays cannot pass through glass in a window so unless the windo is wide open he won't be benefitting from it. You need to give Pure calcium with no D3 each feed Calcium with D3 twice a month Reptivite with no D3 twice a month.

    Glass enclosure

I have used Exo terras to raise all my baby panthers and veileds before their adult cage is ready. The only thing I do not like about them is the drainage issues with them they are easily over come with mesh cages.

I personally wouldn't but mbd isn't a passed on condition really it happens once the animal is born but to be on the safe side I wouldn't breed him at all.

    Best supplementation method?

If you use repashy I would go with the new low vitamin one. I personally do not like calcium plus for chameons as I have seen too many problems caused by it. I prefer the three separate powders with Plain calcium every feed Calcium with D3 twice a month Multivitamin with no D3 twice a...

    Setup

The minimum size cage for an adult male veiled chameleon is 2x2x4 feet. The xl reptibreeze is this size. I would get a 10.0 uv strip to go on top with reflector. Swell reptiles is the cheapest I have found.

    Setup

So many people worry about heat and humidity until they use a screen cage here in the UK and wonder what they worried about. It is fine keeping humidity and heat in and much prefer them as they are easy to incorporate drainage. I and many other members do not like the compact uv bulbs. They...

    Setup

The only thing I would say is change the uv to a tube bulb to give better coverage. What size it is? It looks as if he will need to go into his adult 2x2x4 cage soon.

    New Ambilobe panther

Yep on most forums. There is a lot more chameleon activity on here! You will find the people in the US do things differently to people in the UK. Always better to go bigger and save money so you do not have to bug bigger when he goes into a bigger cage.

    New Ambilobe panther

Hi Its bradley from RFUK! This forum is great for more chameleon stuff. many people will say the 10% is too strong but it isnt especially as it is above mesh. Even a 10% doesn't come close to what they would get in the wild. I take it that it is a strip bulb? it wont be too strong and...

Water tub getting full to quick from dripper

Ideally it needs to be emptied daily anyway so that bacteria doesn't grow too much. Most people install drainage systems for this reason as you will get a lot of excess water with chameleons.
