that's a relief,
they should have just said what kind of problem they were having in the letter!
I think I'll hold on to them for a few days just in case,
thanks!
Just got an order in from Mulberry Farms, including some silkworms, and found wet letter (yes it was wet for some reason) buried at the bottom of the box.
It says:
We have recently become aware of an issue with some of our silkworms. We think we have the problem solved; however, if you do...
I think that is weird.
why would they say you CAN'T?
they should say-- it's really complicated- but here's how, do you research and come back. etc.
I know I'm not perfect myself, but people are Weird to me.
Most people say that you should not give them too many meal worms, as their hard outer shells are hard to digest, and may cause impaction.
I feed my veileds meal worms in small quantities with no problems
the cage should be vertical, but not a tank.
veileds need airflow, so screen is better. Plus, seeing their reflection in glass will stress them out.
I NEVER handle mine unless I HAVE to. Even when I'm cleaning his cage, if I can just move the branch he is on I will do that.
I do, however...
I've wanted these guys for YEARS, but my mom would never let me get them.
Now that I'm a homeowner, I've decided to finally make the commitment.
I'm bringing a male and a female home tomorrow, and was just wondering if anyone else on here had any sugar gliders.
the cool thing about...
what species are you getting?
I've got one of my cages on top of a storage container with a plastic drawer that slides out (i think it was labeled as a closet organizer) It works pretty well because I can just slide the drawer out to dump the water, without moving the cage.
Have fun Tweaking!
Aww, LOVE my golden retriever, best dog in the world.
Watch out for seizures though, a lot of Golden's turn out to be epileptic, starting at about 1-2 years of age
(Mine has seizures once in awhile, feeding an all natural gluten free diet seems to have reduced their frequency)
The only problem I see would be drainage, and making sure he can't burn himself on the lights.
what kind of chameleon do you have?
I think that your closet might mold/rot with all the humidity and misting.
If you know anybody that's looking for a dog, I've got the sweetest guy right now.
His name is "Shoestring" He was going to be put to sleep Tuesday, April 24th. Luckily, a rescue organization placed him with me instead.
He is half black lab, and half unknown. He has obviously been abused...
