I got my little dude about a month ago and built a pretty awesome cage with a fog waterfall ( fog not pouring water ), fake and real vine plants, drip system for water, and a few hearty succulents just for looks. My problem is i am not very good with live plants and i keep killing the main plant...

Yeah I know they get their full color around 12-18 months but just figured I'd ask. I know some people have had panther babies and can compare to am extent. Just curious :)! Also trying to come up with a name still if anyone has any suggestions. So far Hunter S Chompson is my favorite haha.

His dad is an awesome looking red bar but I'm mainly wondering about the process. Tricks and tips for the actual selection of a female and the whole shibang.

I'm still having trouble coming up with a good name! The veiled we ended up taking back was "Christopher Walken" but I can't figure out a good one for my panther!?!

I have a male ambilobe about 2-3 months( too young I know) but I want to be ready if I decide to get a female and go for it. Any pointers?

I've never heard of a purple bar? That would be rad! Do you think it's ambilobe for sure. I'm super paranoid about the sex after being fooled once before I got this little guy. Drive an hour away to find out I got a female veiled instead of male. But if that didn't happen I wouldn't have gotten...
