    Starting to get worried!

Try a white cup. A yougurt cup should be good, as long as the graphics on the outside aren't too flashy. The red of your present cup might be a stressor for the cham. Do not use a clear deli, as some chams will bruise their tongues on the sides.

any advice on rearing Werner's babies

One of my 2 gravid Werner's females just birthed babies this morning. I have them in with the mother and I added some fruit flies. I am maintaining cooler temps( i.e. 72F- 78F daytime and 70F night). I was surprised how the mother selectively chased down 1/2" crix I fed her. She clearly is not...

What in the world? (Blobby feces?)

Did you switch feeders? I get this sometimes when feeding superworms after a long run of crickets . Looks like mucus. I'd be concerned if it continues for the next few stools , otherwise it could be feeder change or contaminated feeders that caused it.

    Crickets in Toronto

If you can find a few other reptile owners near you , you could split a box of 1000 crix every 2 weeks. That should reduce your feeder cost significantly over a year. Or start your own feeder company in your area of town. If you can get 15 clients , you would be making a bit of money.

my new girl's poo clumpy and runny...

Your new cham might be passing fecal from bugs she ate before you got her. She may have been on a different diet than your other cham. The pix are a bit blurry , but she may have slightly undigested poop from a lack of basking heat . Has she been basking at all for the past few days or hiding ...

Vitamin A Supplements From Dr. Ivan Alfonso's Blog

It feels like this topic goes round in circles. I am confident that the research and experience of those such as Connie Dorval , Jim Flaherty and Dr. Fergusen bares out the fact that captive panthers have Vitamin A issues. Sadly, the pioneers of our hobby figured this out a very long...

4 Month Old Panther Missing Food

Clark: What supplements and what schedule are you using . I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a Vit A issue here. I experienced the same issues with the REpCal regime. It corrected after switching to Zoomed Reptivite. The major difference is beta carotene vs. Vit A. I learned of...

Extra parts, what are they for exactly?

This is a new feature. There should be drilled holes inside the frame for those brackets. They are probably for attaching vines inside the cage. I just got a cage like that a few weeks ago.

    next reptile expo in mississauga/gta?

Edgar, if you want to organize a group that mirrors your new website and business model, then that is great, but please distinguish the difference between a business and a non- profit community group.
