Do I understand correctly that you have the skyway between/connecting 2 separate XL enclosures? Or is it coming off of a double wide? Regardless of which, I’m all for anything that provides your chameleon more space and enrichment. If I didn’t have cats now, one of my panther boys would love this.

Maybe try building him a free range area to offer him some stimulation and enrichment. Just be sure to supervise and keep other pets away. It can be as simple as some plants and branches in front of a window.

My only note on BSFL is the digestion issue mentioned above. If they don't get chewed they can pass through undigested. Daily is fine but don't feed so many at once they get gobbled down rather than chewed. Letting some mature into flies makes for excellent enrichment.

I leave my crickets in the cage. If they escaped the feeder bowl. I let my chameleon roam and have his enrichment to really hunt the escaped crickets. Plus it’s good for them to let them naturally hunt.

Got it yes I have read that as well, no digesting them well. I’m going to try them out and monitor his poops so see if he has an issue with that, thank you. But I did also buy them with the intention of turning them into flies for enrichment.
