    Substrate, planting plants, laybin?

She loves calciworms and they are loaded in calcium too. She doesn’t eat a whole lot of super worms tho.

    A few questions.

Watch her temps though. Basking should be no hotter than 78-80. Too much heat and too much food makes for a really large clutch of eggs. This you really want to avoid as they can have serious complications and shorter lives.

    A few questions.

Well I have to move her branches up a hair then. But she is definitely toasty. She came running to her calciworms and when she ran across my hand I could feel she was significantly warmer

    My New Baby Veiled Cham

...that can’t wait. Incredible Pets has the correct lights. The chain petstores (especially Petco) do not. Pick up some bsfl (pheonix worms, calciworms) while you’re there. Those are great feeders. Go to Walmart, Lowes or Home Depot and get a nice schefflera and pothos plants. Remove the...

    New Chameleon with Eye Issues

...in to his new home. Feeding - I purchased some medium superworms from the store, have a dubia colony at home, and plan to order some calciworms/soldier fly larva and hornworms to offer as well. Superworms are more for treats as they are fatty and addictive. I think of them as reptile candy...

Panther Chameleon not eating very much

...I’ve had him about a year, and im currently (trying) to feed him every other day on a diet of locusts, crickets, wax worms, mealworms and calciworms (he has a rota of which insects on which day). On his feed days he has 3 different supplements (a calcium with no d3 twice a week, a mineral...

    Meal worms question

...start moving pretty quickly. However, they are not the best feeder for your chameleon. Much better choices are crickets, roaches, bsfl (calciworms or pheonix worms), silkworms etc. I’m attaching a couple of graphics to help guide you. Like us, chameleons like and need variety. Many on line...

    Sunken Casque

They’re fifth instar locusts most of the time which are 35-50mm. He also has waxworms, calciworms and occasionally roaches. I’ll try and get a photo of the inside of his mouth

Sorry to be a Broken Record

So P still hasn’t layed, not sure if she will or not since the change in her diet and the fact she’s not refused to eat everyday this week … she’s only been drinking, despite this she still looks bright, big eyed and isn’t lethargic or sleeping during the day. But I’m genuinely worried, she’s...

    My New Baby Veiled Cham

Absolutely ! when I tried putting in some sticks I think I scared her which made her go all the way to the top of the cage , and she was getting close to the screen and light bulb which freaked me out so I stopped and left her alone but she moved a little lower. I found some sticks around my...

    Meal worms question

So you don’t suggest feeding mealworms like once a week? Like as a treat type of thing? The worker from pet smart said to not feed it occasionally cuz the chameleon may want to only eat that so use it as a treat / snack

    Nesting box question

...are special little cricket keepers that make it more difficult for them to escape by making it easier for you to access them. Bsfl (aka calciworms, pheonixworms) are very easily kept in the container they come in and are perhaps the least likely feeder to escape or pose any risks of...
