Ya I kind of forgot my password -coughs- had to vaccuum out this comp tower so it'd work to get my pass back, when I opened it up it looked like the ashes of a large body was scattered inside. Karma is good, my sister's friend who I convinced to get a red barred ambilobe panther got some waxworms her cham won't eat, gave them to me, I'm in the process of turning them into moths, Karma LOVES moths!

oh awsome! my moths jsut came up yesterday. get waxpaper and breed them. we can race to see who gets babies first. lol.

Hahah no fair you already started, I put mine in the thing last night. Don't even know if I did it right, I had one squirt of honey left and mixed it with some dry oatmeal, put branches in, a pantyhose thing on top, and have it in my dresser.

at first i tryed putting honey to. it killed all of my waxowrms becuz they stuck together :((obviously i did it wrong.) so i just left them in the stuff they came in and soon they became hard and after that moths.

very cool! much better than the reptarium, eh? just make sure he can get close enough to the UVB (i dont know much about senegals so maybe they dont need as much?)

Ooooh... I threw that stuff out they came in this papery sawdust like stuff.

same here. i tryed the bran honey thing. didnt work for me. mabey you'll have better luck. so far i have 2 moths and 3 more to "hatch" hopefully that will give me some babies. i think one of my moths is retarded tho :/ it came out fat and cant fly and limps. poor thing.

I witnessed Karma get angry for the first time in the entire time I've had him, about ten months. A cricket kept jumping away every time he aimed, and he puffed at it once and what I think was his tiny lil' self trying to hiss. I about died laughing.

post some pics of him?

Looks really good :)........did you make it yourself? And what kind of Chameleon won't eat waxworms?
I thought they all liked the worms and moths........I never tried to breed them though, I just leave them in the sawdust, don't really care how many get eaten as worms and how many turn into moths....about 10% seem to come out retarded for me, lol

I had it all planned out and started it myself, but my mother decided that even though I've used very large and dangerous saws at school without supervision for four years that I'll end up cutting myself, and made my dad put it together.

Oh well, as long as it's to your specifications that's what counts :)......I'm still pretty sure it was those fat little worms that first made my guy think he could get away with being picky about his food......you won't know but I've been dealing with a real hunger strike from him recently......he won't eat crickets or roaches now:(.....I'm going on holiday soon, and leaving the lizards for my Dad to deal with so I'll have to give up and give him what he wants (locusts and mealworms.....)
