Yes she has easy access, she'll go behind the pot on the ground and dig random holes for now.
Oddly, her colours are completely normal, she barely shows any blacks/oranges as of she was gravid, is this normal at all?
I noticed that she started digging a couple holes in the substrate so I put a larger lay bin in her tank with dirt (unfertilized) in it. I know she has eggs as I can feel them when I rub her belly.
She hasn't dug in it, but walked around the diameter, should I just wait to see what happens...
congrats, did you candle them to make sure they are good?
My panther is digging and looking for spots in her terrarium, I am not sure if they mated or not, I kept them together for 3 days and on day 3 she was completely all black so I am assuming so, I hope she can get the eggs out ok and...
Hey everyone I have a female panther (and a 2-2.5 year old I am guessing) male panther chameleon. Recently (in the last few weeks) I have purchased and use a higher wattage heat lamp. She has never shown the pink colours like I've seen before (maybe once).
This whole time (5 months) I will...
I tried today for 2 hours but they just walked around the tank drinking and eating, i'll wait about a week again before trying again.
I can't figure out why they won't breed. I knew it wouldn't be easy but this is pretty damn hard.
I tried today, I had the 2 together in the same enclosure for about 4 hours today, she was fine and was eating and drinking and so was he but he never tried to mate, it was funny she climbed up his tail to get on a branch. She did gape her mouth once at him when he was walking around but what...
I'm the same way. I bread my bearded dragons for 2 years and made decent money and a year later still keep in contact with customers I've had and they're all doing great.
Now I've stopped breeding them to give the female a break and am trying to breed my 2 panthers, and have been trying for 3...
I have a female panther that will freely go in my male panthers cage when I hold her up to his cage. She used to freak out whenever he started doing his head twitching thing (which looks pretty funny) but she doesn't freak out anymore and just carries on slowly moving around the tank. The male...
Hey everyone I haven't been around for awhile.
My female Panther is now about a year a 4 months now.
She's turning her pink colours now and when I take her out to introduce her to my male she acts calm until he starts to do that funny looking head twitching thing at which point she will...
