oh cool.. im gonna have to hunt those shows down... and yeah it really is amazing. i mean weve all heard of mayfly's and their ilk having a long incubation period followed aby a very short and furious adult life, but i didnt actually think it was possible for vertabrates to complete a life-cycle...

a few more new pics of pedro, with an arm and hand in some shots for scale :D
he's really quite friendly now, and if he sees me walking by his viv, he'll often run over and start scratching the glass until i let him out, whereupon he'll just sit on my hand for ages.. im really surprised by...
aww thanks for all the kind words! jann, im not 100% sure, as the crappy place i got him from simply said "dunno....bout a month.." when i asked how old he was when i bought him. ive had him for 4 months, and id say he was at least half that when i got him, so im lening towards the 6 month mark...
Hey guys'n'gals. been a fair while since i posted, and thought i may aswell abandon my old thread and start a new one as a growth journal. Just the one pic to start with this time, Pedro sure has grown alot recently. how do you guys think he's looking?

thanks for the kind words :) im not sure of his exact age, but i thinking about 4-5 months, so he's not even at his full adult colouration! cant wait to see how much more he develops.. couldnt believe it when i started seeing purple on him :O

is he producing any mucus or...
wow this sucks! really sorry to hear about it. ive lost my cornsnake twice, once she was under a wardrobe, and once i only managed to find her when i went to put a t-shirt on and she fell out of it XD from what ive read about chams here, im pretty hopeful for you finding him/him being ok...
ok, so how much should i consider a large quantity? i know im splitting hairs, but i actually really like this plant and think it would be great for his viv. so if he's, like, decimating the plant, get it out, but a leaf or two every now and then wont hurt kinda thing? and also.. dave, suffering...
ok. im a bit confused. you say its on the safe plant list. and ive seen it myself, and yet, even on this site it says:
Toxicity and Irritants
This plant is high in oxalates and can be somewhat toxic when eaten in large quantities. If a chameleon is eating this plant frequently, removal of...
