I also have a veiled. shes about maybe 6 months since i got her. and i didnt know that some would eat the plants as well. i was told they were just insectivores, so it came as a shock to me when i saw her pretty much hanging from one of the plants just to tear a piece off.

so i switched to live plants, and lately my female cham had been eating it. I have a pothos and a drac somthing, and she has eating some of the leaves on both of them. is that healthy? and why does she do it?

welll i figured out what the smell was.... we have snakes and well one of them regertaded the rat.... well we took it out and well now things smell good again

so i got a new pot and dirt for my pothos plant. i used an organic dirt with no special chemicals in it, and it is makin the room smell absolutly nasty! i cant stand to be in the room for a long period of time.... and its my own bedroom so makes it hard not to go in there. any suggestions?

how else would you know that she was prego other then weighing them everyday

yeah im assuming its the break in the skin, only because i tried it again after everything went away but with the other hand and it had the same effect. so i went out and bought a set of gloves that seem to work out just fine

so ive seen some people where special gloves while handling thier cham, and just recently i was handling my cham and broke out in a bunch or itchy spots on my hands. This has never happened to me before with other handling but just recently. So i was going to buy some gloves, and wanted input on...

thanks for that, it helped a bit, especially about the egg laying. but a couple more questions about the egg laying. how else do you know they are caring eggs other then weighing them like everyday.

another question would be have you guys ever used thr vibrating feeding dish? like i had said before i live in a really small town and the local petstore only sells crickets and mealworms live. everthing else is in a can, and ive only gotten my cham to eat when its moving. just wondering if...

i love the blue

so i have only had my cham since november. but so far the only colors i have seen her change were like a spotted striped different shades of green and then she turns a dark grey almost black. just wondering if and or when she will change other colors?

i havnt tried it with my cham, but i have done it on my green iguana and it doesnt have an immediate effect like it would lead you to believe but if you spray it on the or rub it on them, let it sit for a minute or 2 then stick them in a warm bath or tub of warm water rub them a bit it does help
