To be honest, I am not sure what the lump is. An abcess might be the culprit. His casque is low, and his face looks boney, skin is all tight and sucked in. He still drinks(directly from a spray bottle, so i know how much and how often) and eats fairly regular. Not as much as he used to, but I...
My panther is turning 5 next month. He is still eating and drinking fairly normally. His casque has been low for months, and no amount of water or food he will accept makes a difference. He has recently developed a lump by his eye. He fell from his tree today and just laid on his side, didn't...
My younger cousin is interested in Pygmy Chameleons, and asked me for advice on where to acquire one. I figured someone on the forums who bred them, or has bought them somewhere could help me get her to the right animal. Thanks for any information
ok, i had to read it again...you should get some real trees/plants too, they help keep your humidity up. You would be fine with just your basking lamp, and uv light. I am not a jackson's expert, so other than that, I wouldn't know what to tell you
You don't need the bark in the bottom, definitely don't need the water dish, how big is your terrarium? He is probably going to want something much bigger to have some roaming room.
Mine will drink straight from my mister. I just hold the bottle up to him two or three times a day, and if he is thirsty, he leans down, and opens his mouth. I lightly spray in his mouth and he laps it up like a dog....haha, when he is done, he tilts his head up and is on his way!
Ya, I have a 4 foot 10.0, and a tree that goes pretty much to the ceiling, I definitely make sure he can get as close as he wants! He is so much happier than he was in an enclosure, he just goes crazy with all the space he has to explore, and DOMINATE!! haha
I don't think it would be hard at all to connect the 2, just take out a side of the screen on both, you could even just use craft wire to secure the 2 together, instead of adding new holes and all of that extra work...but I do agree with everyone else...I am always about more animals! haha
I have my panther free range, completely. I have a 7 foot tall ficus and a couple 4 foot trees, and I have a 4 foot linear fixture that holds 2 bulbs. One is my 10.0 uvb, the other is a plant bulb. They won't hurt your little friend, but it is better for your plants. I think it is a great idea...
