I had one of those reptile heating pads on mine and it actually melted a hole in the plastic. I am sure I misused the thing and that was the cause but still cant be too cautious.

My Sambava didn't start to slow his growth spurts down till about 18 monthsish, before then it was pretty regular sheds every 30-50 days I would suspect... I think it's pretty normal especially the way we forum members all tend to spoil our chams.
