How long does she usually take to lay her eggs? I mean from the time she first shows the yellow bars and spots to actually laying them. Because it has been 4 days and she hangs out at the bottom a lot but hasnt stepped foot in the lay bin. I guess I am over worried.:confused:

Any way to tell for sure which one she is? (Recepetive or gravid?)

Thanks for the replies everyone. She is definitely a female. No tarsal spurs. She has never looked like this except past few days. I'm just concerned.

First I would like to offer my condolences for you. Next, I realize you are upset but it sort of sounded as if you are scaring others into getting a chameleon. It's no secret that they do die but that happens with any pet you get. It is sad when this happens, yes, but it's no secret.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks for the input. I am using her dry gutload recipe for my insects. Also I do make a wet gutload and freeze it into cubes then feed that every other day.

Here is my supplement schedule: Every day- Phosphorous free calcium without D3 Every other week- Reptivite Multivitamins with D3 This works for me and is really simple. It's really easy to overdose a chameleon with D3. Hope this helps.:)
