I don't see some of the insects I saw this morning now. It could have been the lighting in her cage yesterday, we had a big sudden temp. drop so I left my blinds closed to trap in heat. The room was darker than normal. (I have a lay bin and she is not gravid right now.)
Randall is not eating, that much at least. Most of the food she has got resently is on the sides of the cage. I could only get her smaller than normal crickets for about two weeks before this. This cost twice as much because I needed twice the amount of crickets so I got some still pretty...
He will need some time to adjust. It is best to not handle him for at least a week and not a lot right after that. He would love a live pothos in his cage ,I have one and my girl loves it. If you want more info on how he is doing a pic of the cage and a pic of him would help.
Hit "upload a file" under the text box, then the "choose file" button. You should get the option to choose or take a pic. Hit "use photo" when you get a good one.
Those colors show that she is A. stressed or B. Trying to absorb more heat. If it is cold where you live right now and she has been under the heat lamp a lot is is because she is cold. If not she is stressed for some reason. Please post a pic of the cage and one or two of her, it helps us find...
I personally tied a tough string around my sticks in different places at the ends and used a needle to loop the sting through the screen and tie it to the sticks again. This only works it the sticks are rough and grooved at the ends... putting intentions in the ends of smoother sticks will keep...
He is on the screen because he has nothing else to climb on. He can't get close enough to his heat lamp. You need to attach a lot of horizontal branches at diffrent levels of the cage and some at angles going to upper branches. Like this but try to get more foliage in the front:
The weather has predicted snow like seven times already but this morning the only time it came. This is the first time my girl has a chance to see snow. She sat under the basking spot and stared at it out the window for a while. She might think the big stuck together flakes are fling insects...
I always find my Cham before misting the cage 2/3 times a day so it has gotten to the point where I can find her almost instantly while my mom and sister have there face aginst the cage for five minutes and can't. I really shouldn't but I find a little bit of entertainment in it. -_-
I recommend hanging a vine plant like pothos right in the middle of the cage. Live plants keep humidity up and he will get a thick plant to hide in (good for a Cham of his size) and a perch near the light. Good luck with him.
It looks like everything at the top is near the back. Try to put another layer of sticks and foliage at the top front to so your guy can be hidden. A small live plant and a few branches would be good.
