Hmmmmm.... I guess I'll contact the Petco and let them know of this issue I had. I can try to look into online ordering some different cricket breeds, but nowhere around my home sells them. The only pet place for miles around is Petco, so I'll figure something out. Thanks for your input though...

It's totally fine to put a cover on a side for your cham! I wouldn't cover more than two sides, but if you don't want to move your cage to another less traffic area then that's is definitely a good idea! I have two sides covered on my cham's cage, it help hold humidity and it makes her less...

:P My cham normally has a partially curled tail when she walks, idk. But it certainly means she's comfortable when it's curled

My chameleon normally doesn't have a stiff tail when she's on the move, but I'm sure some chameleons so. Sometimes her tail is curled a little at the end, but it shouldn't be limp while they walk!
