I also wanted to share a video of my 55g display tank that I built for my living room.
It first shows the tank with the lights on, and then what it looks like after lights out.
You will see firefly lights, and glowing mushrooms. This tank also has two built in computer fans installed in-tank...
For anyone who is seriously interested in culturing crickets I highly recommend checking out Paul Rusts How-to-article on Frogforum.net.
He does a great job of keeping it simple and keeping it clean.
That's how I learned. :)
Hahaha. Why thank you. Her chromosomes have combined wonderfully. She's definitely a keeper.
Its all about being sneaky and hiding each cage of new frogs that come in the house... until one day she opens up the bedroom door and discovers an entire room full of them! But seriously, that's how it...
This is the pair that I bought from Darren Meyers for my girls christmas present. These ones are hers. They haven't laid yet, so I guess we're about 9 months out at this point, but I got you covered if you still don't have them by then!
Yeah, I have never posted my species list on DB before, so you guys are the first to see it. :) The collection does look quite expansive, but most of it fits into one room. I hope to be overrun in tadpoles by this spring!
Yeah one of the first things I noticed about chams versus frogs is the incredible amount of space you need to keep them... 4+ feet for one chameleon compared to 4 thumbnail frogs that can fit into a 10 gallon vert.
I definitely dove head first into the hobby. It is incredibly addicting! I'll always have a special place in my heart for all of my pets, but I've got to admit that the chameleons, particularly the panthers, are soon becoming one of my favorites.
I literally laughed out loud when I read this...
I also have a Ghost Mantis
A mini winter dog
A baby fox
A meerkat
And of course, little Scrappy. I mean Maddy.
We even have a friendly cat named "Baby Kitty"?
As well as numerous other reptiles and amphibians. :)
I have high hopes about this community and I anticipate forever...
Hi. I am Adam.
This is my girl, Crystal, with Maddy.
She helps me with my frog hobby, but recently she's gotten into chameleons... and as a result I have got into chameleons right along with her. We have grown together to acquire quite the collection of reptiles and amphibians.
This is...
Thank you all for the straight-to-the-point answers.
I had a feeling she just wanted to lay, but couldn't find any definite answers.
I put a 10in. tub filled with damp sand and coco fiber in her cage earlier today. She was digging for a good while. :)
I am curious to see how many she lays.
