Hmm that makes sense. Last time i took him to the vet about 4 months ago he was underweight, so maybe it is just that he finally put some weight on and has some fat now? Idk, he is VERY active and never wants to just sit around. As for the shedding any advice on that or just let it be?

I agree keep a close eye on it. It could turn into mouth rot if it is a minor wound. If you are super paranoid about it, go see a vet, if it does turn out to be mouth rot then it should be super treatable, especially that small. If your not that worried just keep a close eye on it. Take a...
