Veiled chameleon, male, about a year old, has...
So... she said that he is extremely dehydrated... and he may have a respiratory infection or parasites.
He has antibiotics for every 48 hours for 3 weeks.
And we are doing a fecal tomorrow. Along with potentially more test.
She also told me to blend crickets with water and to syringe feed him...
I noticed the past few days his eyes seemed to be a bit sunken but he was still acting the same. Yesterday I went to feed him and he wouldn’t even go near the crickets. I picked him up and he hissed but didn’t really try to get away as he normally would. He licked up some water after I took him...
Okay thank you very much! I will read up and all of this and make all of those changes right away. Was very worried about his colour as it was something i hadn’t seen before. All of this is very much appreciated. Glad to have so many knowledgeable people.

Oh wow I had purchased him through a pet store and they told me he was around that age. New to owning them so wasn’t sure what they look like at certain ages. Thanks for the help with everything, I will get right on all of that!

I’ve only had my chameleon for a couple of months and all has been going well. Recently, over the past few days he has always been a dark colour; sometimes with black colouring present. Even though nothing has changed in his environment, diet or temperature. What could be causing this? and how...
