    Important Health Issue, Please Help!!!

Rest In Peace little buddy Hello everyone, I'm sad to say that I had to put my little Yoshi down yesterday. He showed no signs of wanting to continue on, and after consulting with a vet, I decided that it was time to end his suffering. My little guy brought me tons of joy in the year that I had...

    Important Health Issue, Please Help!!!

Thank you for posting the link to that article Chris, it seems exactly like what Yoshi has, from the beginning of his spine down passed his pelvis to his tail. I don't know what could have caused this. I honestly thought it was MBD but after taking him to the vet and getting a blood analysis...

Yeah, I edited it because I realized that you did specify the carnivore edition. I missed that the first time I read your post. But thank you again Dr. O :)

    Important Health Issue, Please Help!!!

Thank you so much for your input Dr. O! You have no idea how much I appreciate it. The fact that the veterinarians I've taken Yoshi to can't seem to figure out what his problem is, it has made me question my husbandry even though they've told me I've been doing everything correctly. I think I'm...

    Important Health Issue, Please Help!!!

Yes, to all of the above. I gut-loaded crickets using fluker's orange cubes and recently before Yoshi's problems developed I had started using "cricket crack" as a gutload. I also took Yoshi outside for natural sunlight on sunny days. And yes, I changed his UVB light about 6 or 7 months after I...

    Days without eating. Please help!

Hey everyone, my male panther chameleon has gone about 4 days without eating. He's drinking fairly often, but when it comes to eating, he completely ignores crickets I offer and only eats 1 or 2 mealworms. I think he might be tired of crickets, so I ordered some hornworms for him, but should I...

    Dinofuel question

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of buying Dinofuel to enhance my panther chameleon's colors but I had a curious question. Seeing how Dinofuel is a reptile "superdiet" or "superfood," would it be an acceptable alternative to using vitamin powder supplements?

    Possible MBD? Please read!

Great! Thank you for that information Jim. I'm definitely going to try those suggested alternative supplements. I really hope they do the trick. I'll share a future thread if Yoshi's symptoms disappear. I appreciate everyone's input, thank you all! :D

Ridgebax1: I see your little guy Pete didn't make it. I'm sorry for your loss :( And thank you for your input Jann, I'll definitely change up the gut-load I use. Since this problem is fairly recent, I figured it might have been a problem with his old UVB light (which was nearing 6months of...

    Possible MBD? Please read!

Here are some pictures of my little guy. If it is MBD, the symptoms aren't physically noticeable, at least as far as I can tell.

Why does my cham lick everything?

Hey everyone, I've noticed that a lot of times while my chameleon is walking around, he licks the vine/plant in front of him right before he takes his next step. Is this normal behavior? I'm curious to know if anyone else has seen their chameleon do this too and if you know why he does it?
