I just got my solarmeter for 75.00 on Ebay and now I need to know how to use it and what to measure for (number wise). Am I going to a certain "goal" UVB number or range? I would really appreciate any input on this :)

Chameleons really need trust when it comes to being handled. Try feeding him treats that he really likes (hornworms/silkworms/supers). Offer them by hand but do not be forceful with him. I also see that you have him in a tank. What size is this tank? Can you post pictures of it?

I keep my hatchlings in until they are awake and active. Also if they still have the yolk/umbilical cord attached too, you should leave them in there until they absorb all of it. They need that for nutrition. Hatchlings will not eat or drink for about a day or two once they have hatched so that...

How about mistings? Are you hand misting or have a mister? Also have you tried Dubia roaches of any other insects besides the worms and crix?

Chameleons need a basking light to digest food properly. Without basking and a temperature drop at night (b/c the basking is turned off) this could cause a problem within a couple days.

Hmm... Sugar water & KY for a stuck sperm plug?? I have never heard of that one... I think you are thinking of a prolapse.

Can you post pics of it. If it is for sure a sperm plug then he will hopefully expel it when he poops. Mine usually just rub them off when they are walking around. If that doesn't work then you can try spraying water on his rear end and then gently pulling on it from side to side until it comes...

Cage looks great! Sperm plugs- are they expelled? if so then just wipe them up and throw them away. A stuck sperm plug is a whole different ball game :)
