I am not sure of mama's history so I don't know if she has had any prior to this clutch. I guess in a few more months I will know.😄 Yes I have cut her food back some after 3 days of having the babies. They have had fruit flies and waiting on pin heads to arrive.
Ok she had 23 babies on May 2nd 3 did not make it right off the bat and 2 died the first few days but there is 18 still hanging in strong. I have 9 per cage right now in a few weeks I will add more cages and separate more.
I have done some research on it but it is so hard to find complete answers about it but they do talk about miscarriages in them. That is why I asked on this forum looking to see if I could get some good answers.
I have her drinking now with white finally. Like I said before she only eats 1-3...
I just hope after some time she will put healthy weight on in the tail hip area. Once this ordeal is over she will see my vet I may even ask if he will do a home visit for her now that she is doing better.
Ok now I feel better about the eating thing I just want what is best for her. At this point I was happy with moist poop and white urate. But excited about the food intake as being ok now.
Yes I am aware of the live birth I do have another pen for them to go in and a friend of mine is willing to help out once they get 2 months old to separate males from females. I'm just not sure if she will even have any live ones is my concern with her not so wonderful care before.
I thought so myself. I just hope someone with Jackson gravid knowledge helps with the feeding advice. I just want to make sure I help her the best I can. I would take her to my vet but I'm nervous to stress her more than she already has been.
