    Veiled Hates Misting...

So I was curious what my options are, I occasionally put a drip on her cage, which some she sometimes enjoys but usually not. She has real plants that she LOVES to eat. Her favorite is her hibiscus. I have two so I can rotate them out so they can regrow. Well she is about 6 months old, and runs...

    Eating fake leaves

LOWES. lol. I got two small Hibiscus perfect size for Ziva's terrarium which I alternate so they can get a chance to re coop from her munching. She loves them, and they are pretty too. I am planing on pruning them into trees for her future cage. One tree one bush. :)

    Eating fake leaves

I had the same issue, she had a live plant that she never touched, but often I caught her biting her fake plant one in particular. So I removed that plant before she actually got a piece fearing it may cause an issue in the future as she grew. So I gave her a hibiscus, it took about a month but...

    Hibiscus Eating

Very cool, I had heard of them eating plants and veggies.... but I had never seen it, my first would not touch, nothing could make a non bug enticing, she didn't even eat bugs unless they were moving fast. lol Now Ziva can not get enough! I have two hibiscus plants I alternate for her so that...

    Most Friendliest Chameleon?

Depends on the chameleon, they are like people, they have such personalities. I have been around an amazingly sweet Jackson, and a mean one... I have had an amazingly sweet and personable Veiled, but the girl I have no is MEAN. The only way to get her out is for her to climb from a plant...

    Hibiscus Eating

How much is normal or acceptable for my baby to eat? She LOVES her hibiscus, shes had the hibiscus in her home since I got her. She is about 4 -5 months old. Now she eats almost every flower, and also eats quite a bit of the leaves too. I feed her between 5 - 10 crickets, and alternate...

can baby veileds eat baby silkworms?

baby phoenix worms work great. Mine loved them. When she was about 2 months old I could never be sure how many crickets she was eating, so I always supplemented her with phoenix worms, she loves them.

    Silkworms as Feeders?

Does any one have insight about these? I heard that they can be extremely hard to get off of their perches? I really want to order some, but I was hoping for personal experience before hand

    horn worm feeding ? ?

Thank you so much for this post, I was asking about them in a previous post that I had written and ended up with no insight... One question though, how old should I wait for my cham to be before ordering them? Right now she is about 4 months old and a coordinating size.... From the sounds of...

    Phoenix Worms...

I was looking up how to do so and for me I do not think it would be possible. I have two dogs and it would be extremely difficult to keep them away from the colony, and during the winter I would be out of luck. I guess it is alot more economical, but I think it is too difficult and not worth it...

    Phoenix Worms...

So, back one of my original questions, if supplementing phoenix worms often, (and possibly horn and silk if she enjoys them) how often should I dust... and can I feed less crickets to supplement the worms, or should they solely be a dessert or added bonus per say? Thanks

    Phoenix Worms...

So they sound like they are an all around great feeder choice.... Would they be alright as a daily addition to her meals? and how about dusting, should I calcium dust her crickets while supplementing her the worms?

    Phoenix Worms...

Have you tried hornworms or silk worms? Ziva (my girl) seems much more interested in worms than crickets, I mean to does chase her crickets and eat them, but if she had a choice of worms or crickets, it is hands down, worms. So if I feed her worms I have to feed crickets in the morning, and...
