Thank you again. I don't fog. I've adjusted the mister to go off at 8:10 am so he has a chance to wake up properly first. Do you think I should see how it goes with just that and the feeding changes for now?
Thank you so much, Beman! You are always so great at explaining things.
So, I wondered about his weight too. I'll cut him back 1/2 feeders so it's more like 3-5 instead of 5-7 each time. I'll weigh him later on, how can I see what a healthy weight would be for him? or am I just trying to drop...
Yes, I have a video of him climbing from 2 days ago that I'll send where you can see him using his back legs.
Its a 6% Arcadia t5 and it's 8 inches from the basking branch.
He eats 5-7 locusts/silkworms every 2 days. The worms eat chow and the locusts eat pakchoi, arugala, spring greens and...
Hi, everyone.
My 3 year old panther is acting a little weird recently but only in terms of his movements. He eats very well and is active for most of the day, moving around and basking. But, sometimes during every day, he drags his back legs and it's causing him to sometimes slip off of the...
No worries ! I had a look and found some other threads talking about the different kinds of water and saw that someone said it should be fine to use so hopefully that's right :)
Hi everyone,
I have been using RO water from a local tropical fish store for around a year now with no issues but am moving house and found a place nearby that does 'ultra pure water'. It says on their website that the water is safe for aquatic use and contains no impurities at all. I thought...
Thank you, Beman! Now that you mention it that sounds pretty accurate, like he’s shooting it too hard for water that’s pretty close. Good to know it all sounds relatively normal… I’ll keep an eye on him and definitely will offer a bit of a longer drinking opportunity :)
So this whole month he had it on the 3rd and then had it again on the 19th which is 8 Feed days apart. Next time he will have it will be the 2nd of September and then after that the 18th. So twice a month.
Well, basically he shoots his tongue and then it’s like it’s gotten stuck on something...
Hey!
Its a 6% and the branches are 8 inches below. Yeah, that exact supplement schedule. He pulls it back in straight away and yeah every plant is real :)
Do you think he might be dehydrated a bit?

Hey,
My Panther chameleon has recently been getting his tongue stuck out more than normal, it's happened twice in the last 3 days that I've seen. Both times he was shooting it at a water droplet, one that was on a leaf and one that was on the cage side. It doesn't hang out for very long and he...
