Oh I have a veiled chameleon. He's in perfect health. Had him since two months old and he's about 8-9 now. Not my first chameleon. Might get a giant Madagascar chameleon later on down the road
So I bought a senegal chameleon at a local pet store (I ordered it).
One came in sick... Terrible shedding.
So I went with the healthiest hoping she stood a chance. Was very active the first week. A big explorer when I took her out of the cage. Then... She began to start closing her eyes...
I just got her and she has been acting funny. Extremely calm. And when I got home from work she was on the bottom of the cage black. It's a senegal chameleon. Temp and humidity are flawless. Is she pregnant? Here are some pictures. And it's an adult I was told.
Personally I will bring a cup up to my veild and see if he is hungry. Usually he will eat out of it which I see as a good thing so I know he is eating but if he chooses to turn away from the bowl ill just drop the crickets in and let him free range. When it comes to other bugs its always by hand...
Looks about 4-5? They all grow differently from what I've learned. My veiled just grew like 4-6 inches in like a week. And he is now 5-6 months old. Still not full size yet

24x24x48. When I saw it then built it. I actually realized how big it was. Haha took up a lot of space. Either way he should be in a much better mood. It'll be a jungle soon. I also have to make the drainage system. Shouldn't be too long.
