So within the last 1.5 months, give or take, my male 8 month old ambilobe has been on something of a poop strike. Never had problems before (got him in august). He always had nice big poops with healthy urate every day and now he has some normal poops and some that seem dry (like raisins), but...

It was just the camera. I focused on the darker spot so as to dim the reflection of the light off the leaves. It was one of those Exo Terra Sunray all in one things... I know change it, but I was trying to make due as I had already spent the ridiculous amount of money and LLL is a hefty 5hr trip...

This is how I have it set up. Is it far enough from the focus of the light you think?

but yes 104 is a bit intense for most species. If it's veiled than 90-95 basking for an adult male is good. Most other species of all ages are in the mid to low 80s.

What kind of cham? and what kind of lighting are you using?

Actually the box said 100w, but there was a sticker that said 125w over it so I'm not really sure on the wattage because to my knowledge they don't make a 125w.

The lamp is a 100w trex active uv heat flood lamps I'm trying out. It's one of those all in one deals. I actually backed it off about a foot because the heat was getting intense. It's good for isolating a basking area. Also, it's like the only bulb that's not made in China besides the Arcadia...

I guess nothing really. It's just unusual for me to run into local people. I guess sometimes I just feel like I'm in this podunk little town that doesn't get internet or something. Maybe it was the wrong reaction lol.

Hey just wanted to come back and say I picked up a small baby's tears from the Reptile Super Show in Pomona, Ca. It's pretty cool actually they sold it on a piece of bark with a hook on the back so I could just hang it at the top of a side and ideally it will cover a wall in the enclosure...
