Missing chameleon: ransacked the room / fyi's lesson learned.

Nothing more than LOL. Haha in sorry it's amazing! They are such good hiders. My mom once took one of my chameleons to her classroom for a day and she left the door open. I was so terrified when I got home. Then 10 minutes later my mom showed up with him. In that 10 minute is had destroyed my...

Thanks all so much guys!! Also I work at a pet store 5-6 days a week after school so he gets plenty of food when I get home just one problem is lights go off at 7 because of my timer. Can I change this from 7 am to maybe like 8 or 8:15 will it stress or mess up his schedule? I assume it would be...

    Is he happy?!?

Although my chams arent in the same cage they are right next to each other... I put a towel in between them and now he is walking all over the place. It seems to have helped. He also isn't as dark. I noticed him sticking to the far side of the cage usually behind a leaf. I could easily still see...

    Is he happy?!?

Everything I've seen says keep the temps in low 80s. My room is typically very warm due to the heat lamps I have going all day. His basking spot is 82-83 ambient is mid to high 70s

    Is he happy?!?

I have two baby Panther chameleons a male and a female. The female is 4 months the male is 2 months. The male is about half the size but he always seems to be black or dark brown unless he gets mad then he turns to his Grayish blue color. He is eating well although he doesn't eat out of a cup so...

    Temporal gland infection

Be careful... I had a temporal gland infection on my jacksons and the vet gave me baytril but it didn't work and I believe the baytril is what killed him. Vets tend to hand that out for everything

    New Baby Boy!!!

They do attach to one person (the person that means food) in my experience with veileds is that you can usually get them to enjoy you with lots of tender loving hand fed crickets. Once they understand that you mean food you can start to take them out of the cage (sometimes whether they want to...

    New Baby Boy!!!

Veileds are always a little bit standoffish. My male veiled eats out of my hand just fine but the second I try to touch or hold him he is huffing and puffing!! I usually don't mess with him but he is getting better it just takes a lot of work to get them used to you.

    New Baby Boy!!!

Yeah The romance names are kinda cute. Juliet just seems to go perfect with my female I don't want to jinks them though... Anyways I'll lift the lamp tomorrow. How high should it be? Typically his basking temp is in the low 80s. I also just got him in today so I was thinking he could have been...
